The Training & Placement Cell at Government Polytechnic, Rajkot always tries to keep its fingers, on the nerves of the present job opportunities and tries to seek the new possibilities and avenues to impart placement to the pass-out students. The Placement Cell keeps itself in live touch and it is always conductive and congenial to establish good rapport with the various companies. The pass-out students' information is being collected at the end of each semester. The Placement Cell sends this information through e-mail or through post to those companies, from where, the demand is received or the possibilities for the recruitment are foreseen. After couple of semesters the Placement Cell surveys the on-job or former students for their present status and takes suitable measures to employ the unemployed and to create better job opportunities for on-job students. As and when the bulk demand to recruit the Diploma students arises, the Cell facilitates the employer to conduct the campus interview.

Campus Interview and Placements

Campus interviews are organized by inviting various companies for the placement of    the    students for jobs. It fulfills dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, another for the industry securing the best fresh talents available in the region to train and mould them for their long time need of the employees. Government Polytechnic Rajkot invites reputed organizations for campus interviews and placements. NIT appreciates enquires regarding campus interviews from industries. Placement process consists following steps. The placement statistics of the Placement Cell for the last couple of semesters including the placements made at the employers' place, works out to the tune of 65% of the total pass-outs.
